Sometimes you just need to go to a coffee shop in a historic house with a red door located in the middle of a residential area. Little Brick is the perfect little spot in Riverdale with a whole lot of charm. Once a brickyard, this cafe provides lots of seating outside on a warm summer’s day and yet many more little nooks inside the house to cozy up with a good cup of coffee. Tried their lunch time pasta feature and it was served with a delicious clam sauce – so good! They do have highchairs, usually hidden in the closet under the stairs, so they are relatively little children friendly.  I also dream of one day where I would be there without my toddler, so I could just enjoy a cappuccino and a scone without interruptions.
